Motto!

Let me share with you what our motto means.

We Bring People in!
Our Motto is derived from the ministry of famous pastor and author Rick Warren. We at the Greater Tabernacle Church endeavor to bring people into the body of Christ, into our church fellowship but not only into our church fellowship but the universal "Body of Christ". Even if people choose not to join our church fellowship, we want people saved. For, just to be brought into the church building is certainly not all there is to joining a church. The next step is to raise believers up.

Raise Believers Up!
Once we bring people in, we want to assist them in their belief system. We will help to clarify any questions people may have about faith and Christianity. Therefore, helping people to become strong believers in Jesus the Christ. But there is another step in joining a church or becoming a Christian. It is to become a disciple and then to make other disciples.
Send Disciples Out!
Once believers are clear on what they believe, then we as believers can move on to the discipleship stage. To be a disciple is to move forward in maturity as a Christian. We are to grow as Christians. We are not to be "stunted" or fail to grow. This takes time. As disciples we then began to bear fruit. The fruit that is most pleasing to Jesus is when we win others to Christ. So we then go forth ourselves as believers and help others to become believers as well. We spread the gospel in our walks of life. We endeavor to teach every member to do evangelistic work. The best sermon is the one we live before other people. Many will be won to Christ simply by watching us as members of the church.
